What we do

We provide full interior architecture services from concept through construction, primarily for hospitality, retail, and residential projects with construction budgets from $500K to $5M+.

Architecture & Interiors Full design through construction (SD/DD/CD, FF&E, site coordination) Best for: 2,000-5,000 SF hospitality and retail build-outs, $500K-$1M construction budgets

Custom Furniture & Millwork Material-honest furniture designed for your space, not adapted from a catalog Includes: Design, fabrication drawings, material sourcing, shop coordination

Integrated Projects Architecture + interiors + custom furnishings designed as one system Why this matters: Faster decisions (one point of contact), cohesive vision (not three designers competing), better craft (we can redesign the millwork when the furniture doesn't fit)

How we work

We handle interior architecture from concept through construction: schematic design, design development, construction documents, FF&E specifications, and on-site coordination

Typical engagement: 6-18 months, construction budgets $500K-$5M+

Our role: Alexander is personally involved in every project. On larger commissions, we coordinate specialized consultants for MEP, structural, and lighting.

Process:

  • Discovery (understand goals and constraints)

  • Design (develop concept through detailed documentation)

  • Delivery (construction administration and installation oversight)

We work best with founders and operators who value craft, transparency, and long-term thinking over quick trends.

Interested in working together? Use the form below to tell us about your project — we respond to all qualified inquiries within 48 hours.

Founder and Creative Director, Studio Bucky

Alexander Buckeridge is an architect and designer leading a founder-led studio focused on the design and delivery of interior architecture across hospitality, retail, and residential projects.

He is closely involved in every project, partnering directly with founders, operators, and developers who value authorship, clarity, and a rigorous, thoughtful process from concept through construction.

Studio Bucky was founded to create spaces with presence and longevity, shaped by how people move through, inhabit, and remember them over time.

Prior to founding Studio Bucky, Alexander was Director at Snarkitecture, where he delivered projects including KITH Tokyo, KITH Paris, Museum of the Future Dubai, and 530 Broadway.
