Every project begins with a central idea.
We define the spatial narrative, program, atmosphere, and material direction before drawing begins.This phase includes:
Site and context study
Spatial strategy and planning
Mood, material, and tonal direction
Early sketches and spatial testing
The goal is clarity.
Without a strong concept, nothing else holds. -
The idea is refined through proportion, material logic, and construction thinking.
We develop:
Detailed drawings and technical coordination
Custom joinery and built elements
Material specifications
Collaboration with engineers and fabricators
Detail protects the integrity of the concept.

We remain involved through fabrication and on-site execution, ensuring the built result matches the original intent.
This includes:
Contractor coordination
Shop drawing review
Site visits and oversight
Final installation and finishing
The work is not complete until it is built properly.
Projects move from concept to construction through a clear process.
Every project is led directly by Alexander, from first sketch to final installation.
Alexander Buckeridge
Founder and Creative Director, Studio Bucky
Alexander is an architect and designer leading a founder-led studio focused on architecture and interior environments across hospitality, retail, and residential projects.
He works directly with founders, operators, and developers who value authorship, clarity, and a rigorous process from concept through construction.
Studio Bucky was established to create spaces with presence and longevity, shaped by how people move through, inhabit, and remember them.
Prior to founding the studio, Alexander was Director at Snarkitecture, delivering projects including KITH Tokyo, KITH Paris, Museum of the Future Dubai, and 530 Broadway.
